Carter County, TN
Long-Term
Recovery Group

On September 27th, 2024, Tropical Storm Helene hit east TN with a powerful force. After the initial days of survival, it was quickly determined that community coordination and collaboration would be necessary. Thus, Carter County Long Term Recovery Group was born.

Our mission is to help disaster survivors in our community rebuild their homes & lives by coordinating resources through volunteers, businesses, non-profits, government entities, and faith-based organizations. We seek to provide equitable assistance to all who have been impacted.
